The Initial Consultation
During your first visit, one of our friendly dentists will examine your teeth, take x-rays and discuss your goals and expectations to determine if porcelain veneers are the right solution for you.

Your Personalised Treatment Plan
Once you’re ready to proceed, we’ll create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. This will involve selecting the appropriate shade of porcelain to match your natural teeth, deciding on the number of veneers needed, and determining the best placement for them.

Preparing Your Tooth
Before the veneers can be placed, a small amount of enamel will be removed from the front surface of your teeth to make room for them. Local anaesthesia may be used for your comfort upon request.

The First Impression
After preparing your teeth, we’ll take an impression of them to create a mould. This will be sent off to our in-house dental lab, where your custom-made veneers will be created. Meanwhile, you’ll be provided with temporary veneers to protect your teeth.
5.
Veneer Placement
On your final visit, your permanent veneers will be bonded onto your teeth with special dental cement. We’ll make any necessary adjustments to ensure a perfect fit and natural appearance.

After my MCHN suspected the cause of my son's breastfeeding issues was a tongue and upper lip tie, I went to see Dr. Philip Hand. He was one of the more reasonably priced dentists for this procedure. He was very friendly and put me at ease right away. He took the time to examine my son thoroughly and had a great manner with him. He obviously does his job properly and is not just out to get money, as he told me that neither tie was significant enough to warrant cutting. He noticed tightness around his facial muscles, though, and referred me to an oesteopath who has managed to solve the issue. This dentist knows his stuff, is friendly, and if it hadn't been for him, my son would not be feeding properly. Highly recommend him.
